Andy's Restorations open Day

Had a great day at Andy's Restorations Open Day.
There was lots put on for the whole family and as I found out I was the only store that suited the kids.

Other than my normal artwork I take by Bigtoe and Weesner I took a large amount of diecast cars (lucky for me)
which suited the kids and parents.
Why the parents you ask because you should have seen their faces when they realised that they could by something for their kids to keep them quiet for an hour or so.. True

Hi and welcome to the start of the beginning of Cherry N Chrome.

My wife Vicki and I decided to start this business to merge some of our interested into one.
Previously we had our Cafe The Silver Teapot  in Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands N.S.W which we lost in a devastating fire. From there we continued to sell our giftware although this time only on-line under The Silver Teapot name for a further 3 years and has now finally has been layed to rest after a hard life.
During this same time we built our on-line toy store Pumpkernickle Kids (under re-construction). Pumpkernickle Kids also served us well and opened us up to great new world of selling kids toys but we still felt somewhat that something was missing and we needed to do more to satisfy ourselves.
We then worked on our passion for being creative and our love of anything old with charm. So Vicki created Shabbily Romantic and sold her hand made Shabby and vintage items items on ebay and Facebook.
I created Shabbily Restored along side and incorporated my love of furniture making and restoration which included the Shabby, French and worn country looks. This I still dabble in from time to time although is very time consuming.
Vicki has now also got into selling collectable horses and has her Hobby Horse Co ebay store and  Facebook page set up which is doing really well.

Now finally we have covered all our loves and we have created Cherry N Chrome.
Cherry N Chrome is looked after by both of us, Cherry refers to Vicki's side and her love of anything vintage and hand made and focusing on the 40's and 50's, Hot Rodding and Rockabilly styles. Chrome of course refers to my passion for Hot Rods, Vintage Street Cars, Low Brow Art and 40's, 50's collectables.

We are now complete and I hope to show case our special lines and post, up and coming events and new products.
